Breast pump

Question

What is the best handsfree pump? With my daughter I used Medela pump in style maxflow and was tied down for at least 20 minutes each time. With a toddler running around and a newborn I will not have that luxury. I need to be active while pumping. Also looking for one that is not going to cost me $500!

Contact your insurance. They are to provide you with one. Also hand free pumps (willow, elvie) are not as effective pulling milk out than spectra or other hospital grade pumps. They can actually make an insufficient milk supply.

Wearable pumps didn’t work well for me. I was super bummed because I spent $500 on the Elvie and it had lots of issues. Try the momcozy from Amazon as it’s relatively inexpensive and get a regular pump as back up.

I was able to get this one through Aeroflow free with my insurance. I'm only 14 weeks 5 days so I haven't used it yet. 
But I would definitely check with your insurance before buying one.
