Has anyone had cramping for like 3+ weeks thinking they were about to start their periods but never did ?

I have PCOS and sometimes I don't get a period every month but I usually don't get symptoms when I miss it. I've been having on and off cramping since before Christmas and still nothing. I've taken pregnancy tests and they are negative. A little confused over here 😅 should I make a doctors appointment? Has anyone experienced this? Could I still be pregnant even with the negative tests? My last period ended November 18th and even then it wasn't a heavy period, it was just weird spotting.
