I am a few weeks pregnant to my current partner. I already have 2 children 6 & 8 that I basically raise on my own and my partner has fit in perfectly well in our family. He is an amazing partner, great father figure to my children and will be the BEST father to our baby on the way. There is just one issue, we now stay in different towns, and his new work contract has him away and working on a continuous/busy schedule. He will be here when baby is due - September but afterwards straight back to work. He will get time off over the Christmas holidays but I’m not sure how I feel about this. This wasn’t like this, things changed a week and a bit before I found out I was expecting. I want to have our baby, but I’m sickly scared of doing this alone, although he’ll be there he won’t actually be there and that is all I want. I love him dearly and want to do this now so in the end we can be happily together as a family, but right now I feel soo uneasy about the situation. Anyone been in a.similar situation? Or have any great tips or advice, or just tell me everything will be okay would be great on my overthinking mind! ❤️
