Why has these OB places changed

Question

So, I'm completely shook about how my OB office has changed since I got pregnant with my son. Anyone know why? Here are the changes:
1st appointment/ultrasound: 6 weeks 5 days (w/ son), 9 weeks 5 days (w/rainbow baby)
During the ultrasound: could actually hear babys heartbeat (w/ son), could only see the flickering on the screen (w/ rainbow baby)
Ultrasound pics: tech printed them off for me (w/son), sent them to my phone to download them (w/rainbow baby)
Pap smear: 2020 (w/son), doc didn't do one 2023 (w/rainbow baby)
Next ultrasound: 11 weeks, 3 days & 15 weeks 4 days (w/son), 20 weeks 😣 (w/rainbow baby)
There will probably be more surprising changes to come I just am shocked of how they have changed??

Can't speak on the pictures because mine printed them off for me both pregnancies (2019 and 2022) but everything else sounds normal to me

My OB does everything that you experienced with your current pregnancy. No clue why you got different treatment back in 2020

Many practices have stopped doing the doppler too early, some think it might be too heavy of tech to use on such a small baby.

I’ve had a 2019 baby a 2021 baby and now having a 2023 baby. Everything you said about your current pregnancy is accurate so how mine were. The o my difference for me was my 2019 baby I heard her heartbeat at my first ultrasound but then with these last two pregnancies, they explained that they don’t really know the effects it could have in the baby to expose them to whatever it is that helps hear the heartbeat that early, so they hold off. I had a 12 week ultrasound with this baby due to looking for potential issues, but that’s not normal usually. I also had a 10 week scan with my first baby but that was because they couldn’t find her heartbeat with the Doppler. So situations can come up to change the normal routines but if you’re having a typical health my pregnancy, what you said is very standard.

My office doesn’t print ultrasound pictures either, although once the tech printed some and told me not to tell anyone lol. Honestly I think it’s a budget thing. 
Pap smear you might not be due for one, I haven’t needed one during pregnancy because I had a recent one before both my pregnancy’s. 
If things feel different it never hurts to ask your nurse or doctor why they are or aren’t doing something!

My office takes first appointments starting at 9 weeks only unless you have a history of multiple miscarriages then they would take you in earlier. 
 For papsmear they do then once every three years if you had one already since 2020 I think they wouldn’t repeat it until 3 years passed. 
As for ultrasounds if everything is okay with the baby I don’t think the doctors office sees the need to have extra ones.
I had two subchoreonic hemorrhages at my 9 week ultrasound and my baby’s heartbeat was too high so they followed up with ultrasound a week later and the heartbeat was much better and I was put on pelvic rest until I was 17 weeks. I’ve had an ultrasound at 12 weeks after that for nuchal translucency and at 16 weeks to check in the hemorrhages. Then my 20 week anatomy scan and next time I will have it at 29 weeks because of the hemorrhages the doctor wants to check the baby’s growth.. 
My sister only had 3 ultrasounds during her first pregnancy which is normal in my state.

Generally they wait as long as possible due to the 1 in 4 chance of having a chemical or miscarriage. 
With ultrasounds you can’t even detect HR until the 6th week and with pelvic exams,
If they don’t have to disturb your cervix,
They won’t.
