Is it possible to get a False positive on a digital?

I ask because the other tests I’ve taken have been squinters.  The last one I took was the rapid result but seemed pretty negative.  And took this digital on a whim this morning kind of thinking if I see NO- then I can put it out of my mind.  But it came back YES+! 
I have PCOS so my cycles are wild and unpredictable.  So who knows if/when I ovulate and if/when my period will show up.

It's honestly pretty unlikely to get a false positive on any test unless it's improperly handled. Digital tests are usually less sensitive too so I'm going to say 🎉 congrats 🎉

If it was a error it would have shown a book in the screen. Take another test first thing in the morning.

A false positive occurs about 1%.. but I used to have cysts quite often on my ovaries, a large enough cyst with fmu could be the culprit. I say schedule in with your ob and have more tests done 🤞 baby dust

It had to have been a faulty test, they’ve all been BFN since!

I don’t think it’s very likely to get a false positive on a digital. Crazy the lines are so light! I’d do another digital if they don’t get darker though and get blood work done to confirm also. Congrats!
