Thrush in 8 month old ???

Hi goodnight , i was cleaning my lo nose and notice like what seems to look like thrush on the back on his mouth and tongue, he hasn't been on antibiotics or anything he's been fussy and i assumed it was because his top teeth are coming down he feeds and eats fine and i do try my best to clean his tongue when bathing him so i'm not really sure if it is thrush or just milk build up and as a first time mom it kinda worries me
