When are you planning to/did you tell your other children?

I know it may depend on the age but just curious what other are doing.

Honestly my 3yr old told me I was pregnant before I even knew….

I wanted ti wait and tell my girls...but sure enough my youngest, 4, said I was "off" and had a baby in my belly before I even got a positive. Then early pregnancy bloat hit and she was like I knew it! 
So then of course she told her older sis. Lol 😂

Our eldest is 4 but we waited until we’d told our parents first because I knew he’d tell them otherwise 😂 we told my husbands family at around 7 weeks and my family at around 9 weeks so pretty early on though

We told our 5 year old and almost 4 year old during the ultrasound at the 8 week appointment. Some people thought it was too early, but they have been begging for a new sibling for ages and we were just so excited to tell them. It would have been sad if I’d had a miscarriage or if anything had gone wrong, but from our experience (losing family members and pets) young children are incredible when it comes to dealing with death. We didn’t want to keep anything from them.

Told our 5 year old on Xmas day around 9 weeks and I don’t think our 2.5 gets it, will try explain again later on in the pregnancy 😊
