Are any moms deciding to stay home???

Question

After going over finances with my husband we will just make enough to to pay bills with his pay. I am due to go back to work Jan 4th
(And I don't want to- and after daycare its not to economical)We would also be cutting out daycare for our 4yr old ( looking into our schools prek program for the kid interaction she needs). 
I want to stay home with my children but I go back and forth just because I have never been one to rely on someone else to pay all the bills, I have been able to do it myself since I was 17! And the standard "house wife role" will be difficult, Lol 
Any thoughts or advice from fellow moms who are also trying to find a way to stay home or moms who already do??

Please no rudeness about having already thought a out this before having more children and that kind of stuff.

Totally understand. I worked my booty to come to this country,  learn the language, get a degree and a great job to later on decide to be a sahm/homeschooling mom. It was difficult at first. I tend to be feminist so i didn't like that i had to real on hubbs' money. Yet, when i see him having to wake up early to go to work, go through traffic (3 hours total each day), deal with coworkers, regular work stress, etc etc, it makes me feel thankful i get to just enjoy my two kids and he's giving me that chance. They'll grow so quick and I know one day I'll look back and be glad I chose this path. I'm giving my children the memories and a parent who is always there for them from the beginning and i know I'll always treasure that.

It's taken me fours years to feel like I finally have the hang of things (even with a degree in teaching!). Now, I manage our family business (farm), getting slowly into writing (hopefully I'll publish those books in 2016), and doing selling some of my homeschool work to others (currclick.com). I also get to volunteer at a local shelter and police department. I may not make what I made before but my goal was never to become rich or make my last salary but to have that feeling of independence and to feel like I'm also contributing so hubbs doesn't take all the financial stress.

See what you and your husband want in the future, what matters to you both the most and go from there. I know some moms that totally rock at being working moms and I also know some moms that totally rock at being sahm moms. Either way, you'll be awesome! ;)

I'm a stay at home mom, and I've always worked since I was 16, I left my job early in my pregnancy due to issues with my boss and moving, and haven't worked since, my husband and I agreed that I wouldn't work once our daughters were born mainly because day care for 2 infants is a lot. Being a stay at home mom is amazing to me personally. And while I was bored staying at home during the pregnancy and wished I was working, now I'm so busy and it never ends that I wish I could just have a day to relax lol. Plus watching how much they are changing everyday is amazing to me. If your husband can pay the bills and you guys can still have some money left over to do whatever I personally would say to go for it.

Tomorrow is the day I go back 😢 . My boss is letting me do half days this week so my baby and I can ease in to it, which I totally appreciate, and my momma will have my little man. I'm in the process of getting my photography business started so I can do what I love, be home, and contribute to bills, so in going back I need to keep repeating      " its only temporary" in my head!  Its gonna suck and I'm gonna cry ( and they can be mad if they want cause I'm going to pump every 2 hours) but ITS ONLY TEMPORARY!!!

Im at sahm , my baby is 5 weeks. This is the first time that I am not working. It is a little hard not to bring your own money or not to have a lot of interaction with other people. However, I love it. I love my baby so much and I am blessed to be able to stay at home and raised him. Good luck.

I am staying home. It didnt make sense financially for us to pay for daycare and I really want to be the one to care for our daughter. I really struggled with the decision and still do simply because it is hard to be an
independent woman and now fully depend on my husband. Now that she is here though and the decision is made, I know in my heart it was the best thing for us.
