I have not ovulated for the last 2 cycles. Last cycle I was given provera to induce ovulation so I could get my HSG. HSG was done and was normal with open tubes (yay!) but I had progesterone bloodwork this cycle on cd25 and it determined I did not ovulate. Which I already knew because I had no peak ovulation test and bbt has been just about the same temp every single day. Now, hubby is getting his semen analysis tomorrow and hopefully have the results by Friday or Monday. My doctor said she does not want to do provera again, wait to see what his analysis looks like, then discuss medication options to help me ovulate. Since I am still not having any positive opk, bbt is steady, and progesterone was negative for ovulation would my doctor start me on the medication right away or do I have to have a period before I can start? After 2 years I’m just ready to get a plan in place and get going.
