Anyone understand semen analysis?

Question

My husband got his results and I know they aren’t great but I just can’t figure out how bad? 
Count: 131.78mil
Motility: 46%
Progressive motility: 65%
Agglutination: severe
%normal: 1
%abnormal: 99
Abnormality: amorphous and pyriform heads, thickened midpieces
Sperm viability: n/a 
He was referred to urology. On top of this I have not been ovulating and we were looking to start medicated cycles. Is that out now? If it’s not one thing it’s another… this infertility is for the birds.

Hi Kaity. I think the main think they will be concerned about this the %normal which should be at least 4%. This can often be improved with lifestyle changes (eg no smoking, drinking additional vitamins etc) but it can take a few months to see results. 
I think the agglutination is also a problem because it means the sperm are sticking together. I don’t know the possible cause or treatment though. I hope that the urologist can give you better info so that you can decide on any further steps 💜
