Corpus Luteum
My husband and I have been TTC for almost two years and I got ecstatic when I got a positive this month. I was late for three days and so I did tests. Five tests actually. All came back positive. I had TVS early so the doc didn't see anything yet. Just my ovaries with immature follicles. Suggested scan after 1-2 weeks. Since,it's my first time to get a bfp after 2 cycles of clomid, went to have another scan. Nothing was seen but a corpus luteum cyst in my right ovary. I'm 5w4d during the scan. My right ovary is slightly enlarged and I'm devastated because I only have one functioning FT and it's my right. How can I deal with another fertility issue like this since I have to take treatments for endometriosis and bilateral occlusion for more than a year before I got to open my right FT. At the moment, I'm still showing signs of pregnancy but I read that CL cysts can cause false positive tests. How come?
