Early period?

I’ve been taking birth control in the form of a pill for almost 2 years now and I’ve never had an issue with it until December.

I was taking the pill as per normal and out of no where I just started my period almost 2 weeks earlier then what I should’ve.

I wasn’t taking the placebo pill that starts you period but it just happened.

Is that normal? Do I need to look at a different brand of birth control? Talk to my doctor? Or just stop taking it in general?
