I haven't used these in a few years...is this positive or just before positive? And if it's positive when does that mean I will ovulate?

Negative. 
A positive LH test is when the test line is as dark or darker than the control and indicates potential ovulation in 12-36hours time. LH tests do NOT confirm you are actually ovulating; you need to track your basal body temperature (BBT) for this. You take your BBT first thing in the morning before you get out of bed. Record this on a chart like the Fertility Friend app. You then record your temperature each day, and the app will read the graph for you and highlight your ovulation day when you start to record slightly higher temperatures. Taking Control of Your Fertility is a fantastic book to read about tracking ovulation.
