Is this normal?

My first appointment will be November 10th and I'll be 10 weeks by then! does your doctor wait till your 10+ weeks to make an appointment? I was hoping to get in earlier than that..

This is normal because there's really nothing the doctor can do for you or the baby until it grows and forms some. Doctors also don't like to be seen as nutritionists or health counsellors, they're doctors. At ten weeks there is a verifiable heart beat and a bunch of tests you will take, but for now, just relax and grow, grow, GROW! ?

​I'm high risk so as soon as I get confirmed hcg rise I get date scaned which are early ones

Sometimes it's the doctor or sometimes it's the facility policy, ours is also 10 weeks. But I've had an ectopic pregnancy so when I call to have blood tests to confirm, I usually have multiple blood tests and an ultrasound before I go see my doc unless something is wrong!

Mine should be 8 but we're on holiday so have to wait till 10. I Tink it varies from doctor to doctor.

My friend had to wait til 10 weeks but my sister went to a different doctor and only wait til she was 6 weeks! Different doctors do different things sadly
