C-section question ?

I have a scheduled C-section since my doctor doesn’t do VBACs so what would happen if my water breaks before then ?

Typically, you would just go in and have the scheduled CS early. Same thing if you started having regular contractions (which is more likely than your water breaking).

Of course nothing wrong with scheduled c section but if you want to attempt a vbac, you should! It’s not up to your doctor to dictate how you birth. And if this doc won’t attend a vbac, get a new doctor.

I’m scheduled for a c-section.  My doctor said if I show any signs of labor before my scheduled date then she will deliver the baby that day.

That’s strange they would let you do VBAC if you wanted. I had a scheduled c section but my water broke. When my OB came in she told me I can with what my body’s doing and see if we do VBAC or whenever I want I can asked to have a c section just not at the last second.
