My doctor wants to induce me on Monday by breaking my water at the hospital due to my gestational diabetes and baby was measuring about 8 and a half lbs yesterday at his scan. (I’m very small.) I have 6 other kids and I haven’t been induced but my sister has. She says basically when I go in they admit me and set up iv and everything and come break my water and see if contractions start shortly after or if I’ll need pitocin but that she prefers to be induced because that way she can get her epidural quickly and relax. If you were induced this way how did it go? I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous!
