chemical pregnancy???

Question

I was suppose to start my period on the 1st, took a pregnancy test and it was a clear positive! was in a blissful state for two days, tested again on the 3rd, another clear positive. 
but today I am cramping, and bleeding just like a period!!!! what is going on!? I never experienced this with my first I was late 5 days, tested and was definitely pregnant. never had period like symptoms! 
I am dumbfounded.  I have an appointment scheduled with my OB for the 1st of March but am sad to think I might have convinced myself I'm pregnant even with 2 clear positives! ☹️
has any fellow mommies here experienced a chemical pregnancy? anxious to hear you alls stories 💗

I don’t think you convinced yourself you were pregnant. A chemical pregnancy is an early miscarriage. When I had mine, I got my positive (not sure the DPO) and even got a dye stealer a few days later. I feel like I tested 5 or 6 days before I was supposed to get my period. I was spotting pink and brown throughout the week. I started bleeding exactly one week from when I was supposed to get period.

Yes that’s how my chemical was. I continued to get strong positives until after I was done bleeding. Sorry you’re going through this.

Those are positive. I got 3 positives (including a digital) at 12 DPO. I was OVER THE MOON as it took 8 months to get those positives tests! At 14 DPO I started having some minor cramps and didn’t think much of it because sometimes that can happen in the beginning. 16 DPO I woke up with blood in my underwear. Again not a lot so I wrote it off as bleeding because I had sex (which happened with my second baby). As the day went on I was bleeding more and more and clotting a ton. I called my OB and she told me to go to the ER where they confirmed I was having a chemical pregnancy. By far the hardest thing I have ever gone through! But in a strange way it bought my husband and I closer than we have ever been

You didn’t convince yourself. Those tests are positive. I would call your OB and let them know you’re bleeding. 
Similar situation happened to me in November. Had a positive test then a day later started full on bleeding. My OB got me in right away to do labs to rule out ectopic, but my tests were getting lighter so I figured it was just a chemical.

I experienced the same thing. But I fell pregnant the next month with my now 2 month old. So sorry you are experiencing this

Definitely sounds like a chemical :( very sorry. I experienced the same thing may 2021 & I had no idea what a chemical even was. I was SO heartbroken, so I know how it feels. I did fall pregnant a month later with my son who is now 10 months old.. so there is definitely hope after a chemical ❤️ hang in there

My test were that way with my chemical pregnancy in July 2022. I conceived again in august 2022 and am now 28 weeks pregnant.
