is it stupid to transfer back to a college i already transferred from?
i’m gonna try to keep this short and sweet. just an fyi, i’m currently a sophomore.
i absolutely fell in love with the college i’d be transferring back to (college A). but during my second semester there, i felt really lonely (plus i had a lot of loans already and i was scared about how they’d build up over the years) and decided to transfer to the college in my hometown (college B). college B is cheaper (tuition and rent/living wise) which is truly what attracted me to it. however, i feel just as alone as i did at college A. i absolutely fell in love with college A’s city, the campus, and classes. at college B, i’m not a fan. plus, it doesn’t offer one of the majors i had at college A so i had to drop it and select it as a minor.
i just feel like it’s so stupid to transfer twice. plus i would have to find a job and a place to live.
i just really need an outside opinion. should i stick it out for my last two years at college B, where it’s cheaper and i have a job and a place to live, or should i transfer back to college A where it’s more expensive and i’d have to find a job and a place to live but i would be back in a place that feels like home?
