How would you feel?

I’m an AF veteran and my husband is active duty in the Army. I’ll finish my degree right around where his current contract ends, and I’ve told him I am thinking of commissioning to become an officer and he has straight up told me he does not support that and it would majorly inconvenience him and his life plans. Which obviously I want to respect him and his choices because it would affect his life as well, but I also don’t want to give up on that dream. How would you feel? What would you do?
