Was your second c section worse than your first?

Trying to figure out if I should try vbac of not.

I said about the same, but both of mine were very smooth and great recovery. 
My first was technically an emergency, it was planned because bub was breech, but I’d gone into labor. 
Second time I was terrified of a vbac so had a planned c section. I was very happy with my decision

Also interested in the response! I’m planning on having a second C-section because Vbacs terrify me, but my first was an emergency C-section so I’m wondering how a planned one will be different

The surgery itself was super smooth and fast, but the recovery harder. Also because I had a toddler at home in addition ;)

My second was so much easier.

It’s way more relaxed when it’s planned. Your body doesn’t go through the stress of 28 hours of labor first. As a result, the recovery is also way easier. For me, there was also the added benefit of having my tubes tied at the same time, eliminating another surgery.
