C - sections ?

With my first I didn’t have to have staples ? At a military hospital with my first but now I’m terrified being out in the real world ?!? I might have to / or once I get back in my town is that something I need to discuss with my doctor so that doesn’t happen ?!? Any advice ?!?🥹🥹

How did they close you? I had interior staples that dissolved internally at a civilian hospital. I’d talk to your ob though about preferences.

I have had C-sections, and will be the first to admit I’m a PIA operating room Nurse. Lol 
I let them know ahead of time I didn’t want staples. That conversation will depend on the surgeon that will be performing it, so if it’s scheduled let them know and if you’re like me and went into labor prior to my schedule date I just let the doctor on call know. Staples are the easier route but it’ll make things easier for staff if they can pull the right supplies prior to getting go back there. Good luck, mama!
