Flying with a 7mo

My partner is bugging me about vacation.. we have 6/5yo & a 7mo baby. He’s got anxiety issues smokers weed/drinks and last time we were supposed to go on a vacation he canceled the night before our trip.. I feel uncomfortable putting baby on a plane in a post Covid time although I’d love to be on the beach (via teletransport lol). What do you think? Also the baby has 1 kidney so a fever could be bad. We’re in NJ and Bahamas would be the nearest place to go..
