Relationship advice

My boyfriend and I have been together for just over three years. He is a year older than me in school and he moved to a big city near to us (1 hour 15 minutes away) when he graduated from college to work for an engineering company. I stayed to finish college and we have been long distance for just over a year. I’ve graduated and have a job here. My work is only 5 blocks away, I own my own house and it’s completely paid off, and I am only 30 minutes away from all of my family.

My boyfriend is wanting me to move in with him once the summer starts (3 months). I’ve not ready to leave the life I’ve built for myself, and I don’t feel like it makes sense to leave when I have it as good as I do. Moving would mean leaving my family, which I am really close with and family means everything to me. I’m also an elementary teacher, so it would involve packing my whole classroom up and spending the entire summer resetting somewhere new.

We’ve been talking about engagement and I want to live with him, but I feel like I’m being asked to give everything I have up. He has made some sacrifices for me, but I just don’t know if this is something I’m willing to do. Any advice?
