Were you right about your due date?

I'm in the middle of switching providers because my original provider dismissed too many of my concerns. They originally said that because I carried my first to full term that I have no indications of having my second early. I have had 6 miscarriages between my first child and this baby. I have a sinking gut feeling that this baby will be premature. Has any other parents felt the same way and were correct like you just knew something was off? Or am I just paranoid?

You switched doctors bc you feel like your baby is going to be premature, but there’s literally no reason to think that. Huh. That’s interesting. Good luck w your new doctor.

I’ve had 4 miscarriages and 2 healthy children. I understand the worry. But honestly whether they believe you don’t matter. There’s nothing they can do right now to prevent an early delivery. And if baby does come early, that is a bridge crossed when you get to it. They’ll do whatever is needed to keep you and baby alive, so don’t let anxiety get to you. My kids came at 37+0 and 36+2. There’s no way to predict when your baby will come! Don’t let your anxiety get the best of you! I understand it trust me but all the symptoms etc you’re experiencing are normal. ❤️

It sounds like your doctors aren’t great and aren’t a good fit for you anyway so I would switch. Even if nothing is wrong you want good doctors who will listen to your concerns. If it helps to reassure you, I was overweight and lost 60lbs during my first pregnancy and 30lbs during my second pregnancy due to nausea/vomiting and babies were fine 😊
With my first baby, I knew the whole pregnancy that he was going to be late enough to make me be induced. And he was 2 weeks late so I had to be induced. 
With my second baby, my due date was mid-January but I just knew the entire pregnancy that she was coming before Christmas. I believed it so hard that that’s what I told people when they asked when I was due. My partner thought I was crazy. Sure enough, I had an emergency induction a week before Christmas.
But I’ve always been super intuitive about those things. I knew I was pregnant both times days after having sex and I knew the gender of both babies before the scan. I had a miscarriage 2 years ago that seemed just like a regular period except that I knew I was pregnant and losing the baby. Dr. later confirmed that was what was happening. People can say you’re crazy or it’s coincidence but I haven’t been wrong yet. Sometimes mamas just know 🤷‍♀️

I was induced with my 2nd pregnancy/1st baby. I figured my 4th pregnancy/2nd baby would come late. Like maybe my body would assume I was a first time mom because we forced labor the first time. If that makes any kind of sense. It's what my pregnant brain thought at the time. He ended up coming 2 days before his due date. Now I'm on my 5th pregnancy/3rd baby. 6 weeks anyway. Thinking this baby will come around their due date. I have no reason to believe otherwise. That said given how quick my other two labors were my OB was concerned if I had another I'd end up giving birth at home 😅 I guess we'll see if she's right come October 🤣
