My grown up Christmas wish came true!

Jo
After trying to have a baby for over a year, the doctor assumed I had endimetriosis. I underwent laparoscopic surgery to remove the endo. As much as people say it's not painful, I thought it was. When I arrived home, I tried to use the ladies room when I realized there was an immense amount of blood coming from a wound that had opened. I grabbed a roll of paper towel and headed back to the hospital which was an hour away. When the doctor removed the paper towels, she did not know what to do as she said this never happened in their practice. Two doctors came to see me and they gave me local anesthesia and sewed me up. After I was healed, I tried three rounds of IUI. Nothing worked (I cried and I cried). It was at that point that I called and made an appointment to find out about IVF. My insurance covered 75% as we probably wouldn't have be able to do it otherwise. They retrieved 9 eggs and all 9 eggs fertilized. They implanted two and it took. Tomorrow I get to see my baby or babies. Good luck to everyone and there's a good chance you will get pregnant at some point. Stay positive!
