Hey ladies, an etiquette question for ya:

I had my daughter in 2005 and had a baby shower where people gave me literally everything. Absolutely everything. It was wonderful and so helpful because I was 18 and had no idea what on earth I was doing. Then 15 years later, right in the middle of 2020 I had my son. Thanks to Covid and depression I did not have a showerr of any kind for him but people did still give me a bunch of stuff because I hadn't had a baby in 15 years so clearly had nothing. The crib was gifted to us by a friend so no one had to buy that, we bought our own stroller/travel system and a high chair I loved. So mostly for my son people gave diapers, wipes, books, bath sets, clothes and health/safety supplies. Nothing big but SO very helpful.

We are currently pregnant with our 3rd and final baby, I don't need any major or expensive things like a crib/high chair/car seat/stroller or anything like that. But I'll definitely need stuff like bottles, a baby bathtub, diapers, wipes, clothes etc. I gave literally ALL of my son's old bottles/clothes/toys/shoes etc to my friend's son so I don't have any supplies for a baby and no clothes under 3T. This baby was a surprise, I would have held onto more stuff if I knew we would be having another! My thought is that most of the stuff I'm going to need is stuff that we can very easily get for ourselves so I don't know if a baby shower for a 3rd baby is ok or tacky? Thanks in advance!
