Give in to conceive?

Question

My boyfriend and I have talked about having a child of our own in the future but it really scares me. 
​ I have a son already with a guy that doesn't do much for him and isn't, in the nicest way to put it, a stand up guy. I'm just scared to go through the same thing with my current boyfriend as I did with my last.
​ What if he gets scared? Or finds someone else while I'm an emotional wreck? I don't know if I could go through it all being so paranoid.

If you're not comfortable with having a baby with your partner, you're not comfortable. Period. This may change sometime later, but you are under no obligation to have a baby with this person. If you have a gut feeling that a baby is not a good idea, listen to that. Besides, you already have one child-- you know what goes into raising it! Only you can make the decision to have another for you. And if you change your mind, you change your mind.
