5 weeks pregnant and just tested positive for Covid. Should i call my doctor?

I’m 5 weeks pregnant and just found out today that I have Covid again. I had a miscarriage 7 months ago at 6 weeks and found out 9 days later that I also had Covid then as well. Should I call my doctor and tell them or do you think I’ll be fine? I’ve had a lot of anxiety with this pregnancy and my next appointment is not for another 3 weeks

There's nothing they can do except give you vitamins or tell you to keep taking the prenatal. I had it at 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby and all I could do was wait it out

You can call them if it will make you feel better but there's not much they can do for you. I had it in my 3rd trimester and was told that's the worst time to get it when you're pregnant. Just had to watch out for a fever, and being short of breath cause those were the major concerns for baby. Just rest and stay hydrated!

My doctor wants to know if I get COVID during pregnancy to do some extra monitoring towards the end of the pregnancy.  Unsure what all that entails or if all docs do it but that’s what mine said.
