5 dpo cramping?

Question

Yesterday I was at 5dpo and for about 5-10 minutes I had cramping that felt like I was being pinched fairly hard in my lower right abdomen. 
​I have never cramped like that and now on 6 dpo I have a dull ache where the cramps were.
Is there a possibility it could have  been implantation cramps so early?

So I either ovulated earlier then I thought or I really did implanted early at 4dpo because I got my first BFP this morning on a first response test and I'm 9dpo

I am 4/5 dpo. Last night I had a strong cramping feeling in my lower abdominal area and my left side. Today, not much, starting to get slight cramping on my side again but not nearly as bad. This month in trying not to over analyze symptoms, but I still find my self constantly googling everything!

Sounds more like ovulation pain to me, can't it happen after ovulation?

I had ovulation pain a few days before and 1 day after I ovulated this cycle then it stopped. 
​The 5-10 minutes of cramps felt much different then my usual ovulation pains and they were a bit lower too.

I was having the same. It wasn't very severe but for me, it started at 3 DPO and also happened on day 4 - would love to know what people think? No spotting etc.

​Otherwise I hope I didn't O later than I thought as I will have missed it. BBT was quite clear that I O around 31st Jan.
