Any runners out there?

Lauren • Our little miracle Caroline arrived 1/28/15! Thanks glow!
Hi ladies,
I took up running last June through a local athletic store. The most I ever run is 5 miles at a time, but took a few months off during the snowy months. I'm getting back to it now and plan on doing mostly 5ks...but am worried this will somehow hurt my chances of ttc. Any runners out there who concieved while training for runs? Do I avoid it during my tww? I'm nervous!

I was running 3-4 miles a day when I was TTC and had no troubles. We got our BFP 2 months off birth control. Now that I'm 9 weeks running is much different. I'm much slower! Best of luck ?

Hey ladies!I'm a pro-marathoner and have run for 22 years. Our first daughter (now 6yo) was conceived just after my first marathon (totally unplanned) and I ran throughout my entire pregnancy. She is a healthy active kiddo and I was able to maintain my weight and start running again 12 days post-partum. Good luck TTC and happy running!

The last time I got pregnant I was running 3 miles 3/x a week.  I knew i was pregnant when it became difficult to run, bc my boobs were so sore and heavy. As long as your body is used to it, its ok!  GL!!

I was 3 weeks pregnant (obviously without knowing it) when I slowly started running and I ran in that 2ww , and I just thought I'd share my experience since well now I am 8 weeks pregnant almost and it seems to be going fine. I've stopped running now though due to something else, but I then plan on swimming twice a week instead. The thing with your heart rate over 140 is correct but else I think you're good to keep going.

My doctor told me (as well as my trainer) if u did it before it is fine but you need to keep ur heart rate under 140, I have had to stop running but I feel it is worth it

Also sorry for posting this on the preggers board, but I wanted to get thoughts from those who are currently pregnant! Thanks so much!
