Is it too early?

Currently I am 19 Y/O with a 4 year old son. My SO and I would like to start TTC after my 20th birthday this summer. Everyone is telling us to wait it out, but by the time I have my next child, my son will be 5. I understand that I am young, and by no means am I in a rush to have another child, but I really don't want my children to be so far apart in age. Plus I have baby fever like crazy

One reason I am ttc is because my daughter is 3 but that shouldn't be the only reason. I also feel like we are ready to take this step. I'm 20 and going to school I know I could wait until I finished school but we all are ready. It all depends on you and your spouse. Only you two can decide if it's to soon or not.

At what age did you think it was best to add another addition to your family, and is 5 years apart too soon to start - or should we continue to wait it out?
