Any thoughts would help.

In June 2013, I became pregnant after 2 years of trying. I already have a 12 & 7 yr old. When I went to the dr. And had the ultrasound, there was no heartbeat. Long story short, it turned out that I had a blighted ovum. Unfortunately, my body did not recognize this and I kept growing amd having pregnancy symptoms. At 10 weeks, I was prescribed pills that would cause miscarriage, but they didn't do anything except cause excruciating pain for a few hours. At 11 weeks, I went in for a d&c. Afterwards, I felt great and went back to my daily routine. After getting my first few periods I noticed that my periods were very watery and I would spot for days afterward. So I went back to the obgyn and after bloodwork my hormones amd thyroids were fine, but an ultrasound showed that my lining was to thick after just having my period. I was directed to take birth control for a month and just came off of it. I just started my period yesterday and today I had a lot of clots/tissue. So I am wondering if this is a good thing? Does it mean my lining is shedding?
