Epidural shot

I was wondering how was your experience with this epidural shot ? I had my first baby "naturally" & I seriously thought I was gonna die at the moment it was the worst pain I ever had in my life it was "bad" although I felt so good that I was able to do it! I always had a really great bond right afterwards & all the pain was gone right after she came out!!but this was very hard & I was wondering your experience with the epidural. I seriously would love to relax in my next labour.  :)
