Preseed making things difficult for DH...

Hi everyone! This is our first month officially TTCing and I was excited about preseed because I don't make a lot of CM on my own. I've been using it with an applicator the last two times we BD'ed and DH couldn't finish... He says it's too wet and not enough friction. I'm disappointed because I need it to make BDing more comfortable for me, and I'm afraid without it, his sperm won't get where they need to go! I got my positive opk today so we will try again and use it without the applicator, and I hope it works! Has anyone else experienced this, or do you know how well sperm can swim thru a somewhat "drier" environment? Thanks everyone!
