After giving birth, are you ever the same again "down there?"

Does your vagina go back to normal after vaginal childbirth? Does it stay stretched out? How does tearing affect you long term?

I have had three children and would actually say I think its a little tighter than before babies! lol

I had to get cut j shaped and vaccum with my daughter. my son was normal. but everything went back no stretching or loosening. I know it helps if you do lots of kegiels.

I had 17 stitches but it was just the same if not tighter.  Think about when any muscle/skin gets torn, it heals with the edges, comes back together tighter.

for me things aren't exactly normal. I had my son 6 n 1/2 years ago n still have to wear panty liners everyday. He was 9 ib 7 and I then had to have emerg op as was bleeding out and couldn't find it x

I had to have an emergency c section with my son so thankfully everything the same as it was.lol and I'm hoping when I get pregnant again I can have another c section.. I kind of like not worrying about if it changed.lol

I had my dd vaginally and her heart stopped so doc had to get her out quickly and I tore in the process. I had 8 stitches. But everything down there was back to normal after I healed. It's as if I never had a baby.

I was going for natural birth but after the doctor using both hands to try and manually drag my son out they did a c section. I was left with external and internal tears to recover from and also the c section trauma. My business looks and feels exactly the same and it's been two years.

I had a small tear, but everything looks the same and my husband says it feels just like before I had out daugther.
