Planning for the future, asking for tips/advice!

Giovanna
Hello everyone! I am 18 and not planning to get pregnant anytime soon. I haven't even got a boyfriend at this time. However, I know that at some point I will be at that point in my life when I will be starting a family.
I've been thinking that I should start getting my health in check and also my life-right now.
I am wondering what your daily diets and exercise routines are. I am also wondering, if you are pregnant or a parent, are there any things you do to make sure you stay healthy and your children stay healthy? Physically, mentally, in your relationship, etc...
Thank you in advance!

Get your education in order first... That's probably the most important thing you can do

My hubby and I just decided to start trying. I'm 23 and have my bachelors in nursing and am going back to get my dnp. We kind of allowed ourselves to let go but our goal is to look good for our cruise in December. I'm starting out by working out minimum 2 days a week and will progress that every two weeks until I'm at like 5-6. We cook a lot at home, don't eat fried foods, drink soft drinks, and we take stairs and walk a little further. We take our dog on walks. Our plan is to have a healthy lifestyle/organic foods and do our best not to introduce our kids to fast food and by doing that just stay in the habits were in now.

Take the stairs, park farther away from the store, get 30 minutes of exercise a day (even if that's just a quick walk around the block!) eat your veggies! Cut down on sugar and carbs (but don't totally eliminate them!) use Pinterest to find delish healthy recipes and workouts that fit your lifestyle! Smile often, dress well, and put some of your paycheck into savings every time you get paid. You might need that emergency money if the car breaks down or you have to take a few days off work because you are ill. Every little penny saved will help. Buy used if you can to save money, use coupons wisely (don't buy if you don't use it/the store brand is cheaper!) and keep an eye out for yard sales! Do what makes you proud and happy!

Don't buy junk yes it looks good it tastes good but it's not good for you and when you do have children you don't want them growing up with unhealthy lifestyle choices that you made for them for example my nephew lives with his mom she's not the smartest when it comes to being healthy and have my nephew gummys like fruit snacks and stuff and never forced him to brush his teeth since he was only 5 and she didn't help him so my brother his dad had to take him to the dentist and get 14 teeth removed due to cavities at the age of 6 just be careful is all I'd say and if you want them to be healthy then you need to be healthy as well :)
