Hey everyone! I had a Nuchal Translucency and blood screening at 12 weeks and follow up blood work screening at 16 weeks. The results came back with a positive result (1/110 chance of Down's syndrome) but no results showing spina bifeda or trisomy 18. The ultrasound came back okay. I don't have a history of Down's syndrome in my family and I'm only 25 so the genetic counselor recommended further testing bc of my age. I'm going back tomorrow for an NIPT blood screening. I was wondering if anyone had received a false positive or has had this test done. Thanks for the help!
