Implantation bleeding at 9 weeks???

Question

The last three days I've had very slight brown spotting or discharge, always at the same time of day in the afternoon. I'm obviously a bit worried and phoned the midwife but she says it's fine, only worry if I get pain with it.

​I've got a bit of a backache, the kind when you are having a period but that's it. I used to get stretchy ligament twinges bit I haven't got that anymore.

​Does this sound normal? I'm just worried and I haven't even heard a heartbeat or had a scan as it is too early which is frustrating!

It's not too early to have a scan... You can ask for a dating scan anywhere from 6 weeks. I would def do a scan ASAP to make sure everything is ok

It happened a lot with my first. Certain things can cause it too like sex and straining to use the bathroom. It's hard, but try not to worry.

Thanks guys, I've spoken to a midwife and just got passed yet another number to try but they seem reluctant to scan this early but it doesn't help when she says "it could be completely normal or it could be a miscarriage"!

9 weeks is not too early. I had spotting at 6 weeks and had a scan, then they did another to check progress at 8 weeks. And I could see loads. Push your midwife you need reassurance and stress isn't good. God it's mad how blaze they can be about the whole thing! They don't realise all we do is worry as preggo ladies!

Experienced this yesterday after sexual intercourse ! I'm 9 weeks today and experience some pinkish tinge in my normal discharge but it really worried me too ! I was followed by any cramping or pain and only lasted 2 trips to the loo but still worried me x

Not quite sure about the question, but I do not it is not too early to hear the heartbeat or see the ultrasound for you!

My doctor told me to expect this could happen from weeks 9-13.  I think it's very normal!  Good luck and God bless!
