Ultrasound @ 10 weeks?

Question

I was wondering if any other mommies were able to get an ultrasound at 10 weeks? I go for my first appointment on August 25th for my education and paperwork and then on my birthday–September 8th–I go for my first real appointment. What all are you able to see on a 10 week ultrasound? I'm so anxious and ready to see my little beany baby <3

I had an ultrasound at 6w/6d because i am high risk due to past miscarriages, and my baby was just a tiny little bean with a heartbeat at 115. I then just had another ultrasound today at 20 weeks and everything was great! Heartbeat at 149!

This was my baby at 10 weeks 1 day. He/she was moving around and standing on his/her head. Ha! It's was so cute! ​

I go at 8wks for my first ultrasound and I've been wondering the same thing... Will it be looking babyish then or still beanish? Lol

My first appointment was at just over 7 weeks and they did an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy and make sure everything was going well. 
​My second appointment, at around 10 weeks, I met with a nurse who basically went over everything with me and answered any questions I had and then I met with the midwife who did a pap smear, took a urine sample, and listened to the heartbeat with a fetal doppler. After that, I had a bunch of blood work done.

​It's very exciting! Whether or not you get an ultrasound will depend on your doctor and how they do thing. I had one at 7 weeks or so and I won't have another until 19 weeks.
