What did you do for cramps when you first started like did you take pills or a heating pad??

When I first had cramps I didn't know what to do I cried because it hurt so bad so my mom gave me midol and then I tried heating pads

Naproxen (one every 12 hours) and some Tylenol can be taken with it. Also heating pad is awesome. Try stretching and exercising if you can.

Walking actually helps ALOT. Stay active. As much as we all know that's not really easy when you are on your period, but it helps with the cramps.

I used moltrin at frist but what I find helps is laying down and rubbing your belly counter clockwise  and put a lukewarm cloth on over your eyes to help you relax or it crazy but I walk for a while all of these help for me

I have PMDD and get severe cramps (sometimes so bad I nearly pass out). Hot showers or baths (if you can wear a tampon) really help. Heating pads work too, I have 2 and use one on my back and another on my lower abdomen. Keeping your blood sugar under control and staying hydrated is really good too. Try to eat non-junk food throughout the day, even if you have to eat the junk food too. Sometimes, when the cramps are aweful, I just have to sleep them off. Deep breathing exercises can also help you manage the bad "contractions".
