I'm 22 and my boyfriend and I have been dating very seriously for 2 years. We talk often of getting married and he is graduating this year. I don't expect to get married until I'm also finished with school in a couple years, but I want to be very prepared when he pops the question. I have never attended or participated in a wedding. Most of my family have had courthouse weddings with no formalities and I have wanted a fairy tale wedding as long as I could remember. How are weddings planned? Who pays for what? What's a reasonable budget for young graduates? What should I DIY and what should I purchase? I realize that my wedding is all up to me, so that's not the answer I'm looking for--I just want to know *how* to plan and save :)
