Passion tea from Starbucks?!!!

Is it safe to drink passion tea from Starbucks???!! My favorite drink of all time but is it safe?!!

Sadly, there is hibiscus in it, which were supposed to avoid. It seems every tea I love has hibiscus in it. Such as bummer!

Im not really sue what kind of tea it is but in a couple if my books it's has been saying to avoid green teas because it messes up the way your body absorbs the DHA from the prenatals.... Hopefully you can find something that tastes good!!

I have heard it's bad too, but I think it's only in "medicinal doses", which I'm sure tea is far less than. I'm 11 weeks and I drink a grande passion tea about 1-2 times a week.

I've read that the hibiscus flower (found in passion tea) is unsafe for pregnant women. So I'm going to be staying clear. It's my favorite drink too.

Yes you can have up to 200mg of caffeine per day. Passion tea only has about 40mg in a medium

I didn't even know tea could be bad for you. Thank you for posting this cause I think I need to check some of the stuff I drink. Any one know off the too of their head if lemonade/ice tea mix from like Arizona is bad?? N I love Starbucks tea so I'm a little disappointed on that.

Caffiene is usually in tea. Limit your intake on that. Definitely in your first trimester! First trimester is when the most important parts of the baby are forming. If you can go without it for 3 months more power to you. I have a coke maybe once or twice a week. It tastes like heaven when I drink it.
