Spotting ?

Has anyone else had spotting at the time of their period would have been each month ? Mine is very on and off and I'm 7+6 weeks . Scary wait till 12 weeks !!

I've had spotting consistently on and off and am currently 11w1d and it seems to have gone away. At 6w6d they noticed a possible subchorionic bleed on my early ultrasound. Baby was healthy and development was on track :) Try not to worry but definitely talk to your doctor as they are there to support you and determine what the bleeding might be from. Please remember that many women have some spotting in the first trimester BUT it is definitely scary when it happens to you. I'm with you!

Hi Lisa , have just come out of scan and it went very well . Baby looked good and we saw a heartbeat. Fingers crossed all will be ok for the 12 weeks scan now and the rest of the pregnancy ?

I had spotting with 2 of my 3 previous pregnancies and both are fine. It's pretty common.

Thanks Lisa , I had a early scan 2 weeks ago because of spotting but they said was too early to see much but was there looked good and wanted to re scan me in 2 weeks to see more which will be this fri. Fingers crossed is just normal spotting. It is around the times my period would be due so I'm keeping everything crossed ! X

Spotting is VERY common. It can be from sex, straining while using the bathroom, lifting, having some left over inside you, etc. I experienced it at 6wks. Doc said not to worry until it's bright bloody red and you need a pad.
