Period on depo

I'm just curious about everyone's experiences with their period while on depo. I've been on it for 2 months now, and my periods are longer but also lighter. They also stop and start again a lot, and I had a lot of spotting the first month. Has anyone had the same experience? Please tell me it stops because it is very frustrating.. especially for my sex life lol
