Mid cycle bleeding

Wondered if any of you ladies have had mid cycle bleeding. This has been happening to me since feb this yr (when still on pill) and continued to happen when I came off at end of April. Had an ultrasound in May which was normal. It happens every month consistently 2-3days after ovulation. Going to go back to docs in a couple of weeks. Reckon it might be a hormonal imbalance. It can't be ovulation bleeding as started happening when I was still on the pill. Have any of you ever experienced this? X
