Any thoughts on the implant?

Just got Nexplanon a few months ago... I know it's supposed to be 99 percent effective but Glo is still telling me I have a 3 percent chance. Any thoughts? With a latex allergy no condoms are involved and pulling out is no fun :)

I absolutely love mine! I have Nexplanon, and I've had no problems at all! It also tells me I have a 3% chance, but Nexplanon is 99.9% effective. Me and my S/O don't use condoms at all, nor do we pull out. All depends if you trust your birth control or not. :)

Oh goodness I hated the implant. I didn't get my period for the first few months, which was awesome, but I got constant daily migraines. Then one day my period started and it didn't stop for a month and a half. Then it stopped for 2 weeks, and came back for 3 at a time. After that started, I began getting very very moody and depressed. It was horrid. I got it taken out and literally felt this huge weight being taken off my shoulders. I didn't get my first period until a month and a half after removal and it took 2 cycles to regulate. The only pro is that I didn't get pregnant.

They have condoms that aren't latex.  But a 3% chance isn't too bad I mean no BC is fully 100 I guess.

I was considering it for a while but I stuck to the pill... These side effects sound horrible I stuck to the pill because I want to have regular cycles and the pill gar antes it's always on time.

I bled from February til November. . Then 1 day after sex every time for 2 years. With the second implant I was like clockwork but I had it removed because everyone thought I had some mental disorder

Had it for a year took it out it was horrible for me but everyone is different . I had af for two months straight spotting in between it was just all around bad for me the scar I have from when it was taken out hurts from time to time .

I had implanon and it was nice at first. No period for six months! I thought I won the lottery! Then...period (light to medium spotting) nearly everyday for a year. No thanks.

It was horrible I bled for 90 days straight when they first put it in and then I would go 4 months without a period & then make to for those 4 months with 4weeks of bleeding. Worse thing ever, but it did prevent pregnancy! Took out in April & it took over 3 months for my period to be normal.

Any thoughts on the implant?
