Chart question for you ladies with PCOS

Sarah • We just had our rainbow baby 2/3/19 after 5.5 years of ttc and 3 miscarriages.
I've never been told I have PCOS but someone brought it to my attention after seeing my charts and hearing that all my OPKs have been positive. So my question is... How do my charts compare to those who know they have PCOS?
Since my last AF I've had 2+ weeks of positive OPKs, 3 BFN and AF hasn't arrived. Cycle length average = 37 days. AF usually lasts 7-8days.

I have PCOS & my charts are very flat with barely any dips or jumps. I also have constant positive OPKs. The biggest sign for me is no ovulation or AF for 9 months

I'm not sure if PCOS charts have a certain look to them so I can't say on that aspect. Mine have a dip at ovulation and a rise that's generally stays above my cover line till a day before AF. You might want to talk to your obgyn about any symptoms you have. I also like fertility friend as it gives a cover line so you can see where your temps changed from pre to post ovulation.

This is mine for this cycle. So having PCOS can make your chart very up and down if you aren't on medication to help you ovulate or induce your cycle. Where the cross hair on mine is at is when I started Provera to induce AF

My charts are very flat. Sometimes a small peak right after O, but then back down again.

I was 13 when I found out I had PCOS, and whilst I am not trying for a baby, I do chart it to keep track of when I may be ovulating just for my own benefit, as I have one ovary that likes to work when it feels like it and the other doesn't work at all. My charts tend to do very little, only jumping every few months. It looks like you may be ovulating, but I'm not great at this:/

I'm 34, just confirmed I have PCOS. DH and I have not used BC or other prevention methods for 10 years. We have one beautiful 5 year old boy, but been TTC periodically for the last 3 years with no luck. Several times was absolutely convinced I was preg, with early symptoms, but tests always neg.  I haven't been tracking my bbt, so my charts don't look like yours. I do have a history of occasional ovarian cysts that are very painful when the rupture. I "usually" get AF monthly, but range from 20-73 days between cycles. Have used several OPK before, with varied results, last month actually gave a peak reading but apparently it is common to get false positives with the OPK. We are thinking of trying femara and IUI but DH is now reluctant :"( My sister is 38 and currently pregnant (unintentionally) with her 5th....so frustrating!!!

Your ob/gyn should do some blood tests. A lot of women w PCOS have higher testosterone levels. I have hair on my nipples, belly and feet. Some get facial hair or chest hair. I didn't have a period without birth control once I got started on it. Before I was 18 periods were sporadic, 2 months without 3 weeks w AF 2 weeks off a month w AF. I haven't been on birth control since 2012 and I didn't have have a period for 3 months then got one on my own in December then nothing for 9 months. Dr told me it was bad to go that long without a period and not be pregnant so she said use birth control and i was like but i want to get pregnant and she said well you're more likely to develop cancer if you don't have have a period so I said fine and I did for 6 more months of birth control til I said screw this, there's got to be somebody that will start my period a diff way and help me to get pregnant. So I found a gyno. He asked me questions and said it sounded like I had PCOS and they did blood tests and confirmed it. At this point before meeting w him I was without without a period for 3 months. He prescribed me Medroxypr to start my period and Metformin and clomid to regulate hormones hormones and make sure I ovulate.

Thanks! I just made an appointment yesterday and will see a new Ob/GYN mid October. This was really helpful! Thank you!

It's probably not much help since I'm on medication. Idk why it dipped yesterday. This is first month charting. My highest ones in the green I was sick those days.

I agree with the suggestion that you see your OB/RE about them. Mine are a bit jagged like yours but I don't have constant cycles - typically, AF disappears for 2-3 months but sometimes just completely and has to be induced with Provera. I get lots of positive OPKs too tho, and the CM is sooo unreliable. I think it can vary from person to person. It's possible you have PCOS but best way to know is scan & hormone tests.
