So confused. First time TTC. Please help

So on glow It said my period was supposed to start on the 2nd. When it didn't come I took a test on the 3rd and it was negative. Well here it is the 16th and I still haven't had a period. And my boobs are killing me. 
​I want to trust the test and just accept that I'm not pregnant but I'm having second thoughts.
