Missed period & negative tests!!

I was supposed to get AF Sunday 9/14, but it didn't happen. Tested Sunday and today and both BFN. I'm usually right on time, but I don't know why my tests would be negative if I was pregnant. The waiting and wondering is driving me crazy! Any ideas??
