Clomid for men?

My dh's doctor just prescribed clomid for his low testosterone. He is taking 25 milligrams once a day. We weren't sure if its better to take in morning vs evening. How long before you noticed effects?  Any side effects?

Not sure for men but when I took it doc said do it after 5pm.

My doctor suggested to take it in the evenings as well but at the same time every night. I has side effects so no he prescribed Letrozol instead of Clomid. Clomid was giving me hot flashes, blurry vision and light-headedness.
